This individual is responsible for launching, managing, and growing CCCS’s Charleston, WV office by building community partnerships, increasing access to financial and housing counseling services, supervising local staff and volunteers, representing CCCS in the community, and supporting program, compliance, grant, and outreach goals. The Program Director will assist the Executive Director with office operations, staff training, service delivery, reporting, and quality improvement.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with at least three to five years of related nonprofit or business management experience. Proven community outreach or partnership-building experience. Comfort with public speaking and presentations. Ability to work independently without daily in-person oversight. Willingness to become certified in financial/housing counseling within 12 months of hire. Knowledge of basic office procedures. Must have excellent computer skills demonstrating the ability to work with various software products, such as Microsoft Word, and Excel. Must be responsible, alert, and able to consistently meet deadlines. Must be self-motivated and have good communication skills. Must be able to work with all levels of management/personnel in a team setting. Must be willing to travel to Parkersburg, WV for training and meetings, as well as throughout Kanawha County and surrounding areas to support outreach, community events, and partner engagement.DutiesLaunch and grow the agency’s Charleston, WV officeServe as CCCS’s primary local representative in the Charleston area and assign other staff/volunteers/contractors, as appropriate, to represent the agency at community events.Work with the Executive Director to develop Policies and ProceduresMaintain functional knowledge of all departments and assist as necessaryTrain staff and volunteers for all programs and servicesProvide oversight and direction to all staff and volunteersAssist in the hiring and firing decisions along with Executive DirectorSubmit monthly reports to help measure the impact and effectiveness of the Charleston, WV officeSubmits quarterly client reports to the Executive Director and Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) CommitteeMaintain equipment and software needs of the agencyAttend training sessions, conferences and seminars that pertain to CCCS and job-related areasDocument and mitigate all complaints and report to Executive DirectorWork with the Executive Director and maintain compliance of accreditation standardsMake management decisions in the absence of Executive DirectorAssist the Executive Director, management, and accounting staff in budget planning for each agency program to support needsAssist the Executive Director in ensuring agency is maintaining National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) complianceMonitor and enforce counselor certificationsWork with the Executive Director and Parkersburg office, Program Director to complete creditor, HUD, NFCC, Executive Office for US Trustees (EOUST) and Social Security reporting and compliance requirementsAssist in managing agency social media and websitePerform annual employee evaluations with the Executive DirectorPerform quarterly evaluations for bonus opportunityBe available to service, educate, and counsel clients as neededMaintain required certifications to include financial counseling and others as necessary for service deliveryBuild local partnershipsMeet measurable growth goals related to client services, community outreach, partner referrals, workshops, and Charleston office development.Identify Charleston-area funding, donor, and grant opportunities;Assist the Executive Director and Parkersburg office, Program Director with fundraising and donor activities as well as grant applications and reporting.Organize and promote CCCS programs and services through community presentations, partner meetings, outreach activities, and local referral relationships.All other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
