OverviewMammography Technologist (Travel) – Radiology, Hermiston, Oregon, United States. Start date 05/18/2026 for a thirteen-week assignment with guaranteed hours. Weekly pay range: 2,440 to 2,536 USD per week. Shift: four 10-hour day shifts. Setting: Critical Access Hospital. This travel position focuses on diagnostic radiography and specialized mammography procedures, supporting licensed practitioners in patient care and imaging interpretation.Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,440–$2,536 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (Mon–Thu; day shift) Start date: 05/18/2026 Work setting: Critical Access Hospital environmentResponsibilities Perform diagnostic radiography procedures with emphasis on mammography, producing high-quality images for interpretation Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures and document information for licensed practitioners Prepare patients for imaging, provide instructions to obtain optimal results, and help reduce anxiety Select and operate radiography equipment; position patient and equipment to best demonstrate target anatomy Immobilize patients as needed; determine exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff Evaluate images for technical quality; ensure correct patient identification and documentation Assist with interventional procedures, maintain aseptic technique, and administer contrast media or medications as prescribed when allowed by policy Deliver compassionate care, address patient needs, and follow applicable safety and institutional guidelinesRequirements Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program Licenses/ Certifications: OBMI and ARRT-registered Mammography Technologist; Current BLS certification Experience: None required; Preferred: minimum 2 years of relevant experience Physical/Functional requirements: Ability to perform radiographic imaging duties and lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting Travel assignment eligibility: Must meet job notes requirements; CRASE training may be required if travel assignment extends beyond six monthsBenefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Travel assignment: 13 weeks Day shift with 4x10-hour schedule Professional credentialing and onboarding support Access to assignment-related guidance from a dedicated teamFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings, please visit Healthforce Healthcare LLC’s apply portal: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
