This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable integration solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accessibility, and service delivery across a modern cloud-based ecosystemKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions that enable secure and reliable communication between internal applications, cloud services, workflow platforms, document management systems, and external agency partnersBuild and support scalable APIs, integration services, and middleware components using .NET, C#, Node.js, and Python while ensuring high availability, performance, maintainability, and securityDevelop and implement secure data exchange solutions utilizing REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, and other industry-standard protocols to support mission-critical business processes and sensitive information exchangesSupport Azure-hosted integration environments by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing services such as Azure App Services, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Active Directory, Azure AD B2C, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Key VaultCollaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, quality assurance teams, and client stakeholders to design technical solutions that align with business objectives and operational requirementsParticipate in system integration testing, deployment planning, release management activities, and production support efforts to ensure stable and successful delivery of platform enhancementsMonitor integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions that improve reliability and operational efficiencyContribute to technical architecture reviews, integration standards, documentation efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives that support long-term platform sustainabilitySupport Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration activities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be consideredSeven (7) or more years of software development experience supporting enterprise applications, business-critical systems, or large-scale technology environmentsFive (5) or more years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions utilizing APIs, middleware technologies, and service-oriented architecturturesDemonstrated experience developing backend services and integration components using .NET technologies, Node.js, Python, or comparable enterprise development frameworksStrong understanding of application integration patterns, API design principles, data exchange standards, and enterprise architecture conceptsExperience supporting cloud-based environments and distributed systems hosted within Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platformsProven ability to implement secure authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection mechanisms supporting organizational security requirementsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving multiple applications and stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical, business, and leadership teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Federal, State, or Local Government technology programs and digital modernization initiatives within highly regulated environmentsExperience working within workers' compensation, insurance, healthcare, claims processing, financial services, or other industries that manage sensitive data and complex business workflows.Familiarity with business process management platforms, workflow automation tools, case management systems, or enterprise operational platforms supporting large-scale business processes.Experience supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), IAIABC transaction standards, insurance-related data exchanges, or integrations involving external agencies and third-party organizations.Experience with Azure Integration Services, including Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, event-driven architectures, enterprise messaging technologies, or Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms.Experience utilizing Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and modern DevSecOps practices within Agile software development environments.Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Azure Application Gateway, Azure AD B2C, document management integrations, and secure cloud-native application architectures.Microsoft Azure certifications, integration certifications, cloud architecture certifications, or cybersecurity-related credentials are highly desirableWhy Join4A Be part of a mission-driven, women-owned consulting firm with a reputation for excellence.Work on high-impact projects across federal and commercial clients.Collaborate in an inclusive, growth-oriented culture where innovation is valued.Access career development programs, mentorship, and learning opportunities.
