Fabricators/Production Personnel

Longstanding sheet metal manufacturer seeking self-motivated candidate to join our team. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and has the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Full Time, First Shift, 40 hours/week, Union Position Requirements: * Candidate must have the ability to read a tape measure, read and interpret shop drawings + hardware templates, and have strong math skills. * Candidate must have the ability to use various power tools/hand tools, spot welder, punch press, cutoff saw and other equipment when needed. Duties to include, but are not limited to: * Set up and run hydraulic punch press, cut off saws, and other equipment. * Laying-Out formed-up and extruded doors and frames. * Assemble door/frame components while verifying compliance with drawings/details. * Complete component sub-assemblies, spot-welding, fitting/attaching stops and decorative elements, drilling/tapping, verifying hardware component notching, and determine/install necessary reinforcements. Must be 18 or older and have a high school diploma/GED. Experience in sheet metal manufacturing a plus, as well as experience in press room operations including sheet metal layout, experience in fabrication/assembly, and/or machine setup and operation. Starting rate of pay will be based on experience and education. The minimum starting rate is $17.50/hour.
