Recovery Support Nurse

RECOVERY SUPPORT NURSE-COMPREHENSIVE CARE-FULL TIMETo work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and integrate addiction and recovery services. Will be responsible for identifying, supporting and evaluating patient with substance use disorders. Will work closely with the Addiction Consult Service Provider to develop an appropriate and individualized treatment plan including the initiation of medication assisted treatment. Acts as a liaison between emergency department, inpatient medical units, HMC outpatient MAT services and behavioral health services to ensure appropriate assessment, triage and engagement of HMC patients.REQUIREMENTS:Graduate of an accredited nursing institution; Massachusetts RN license required, CARN preferred; 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year working in the area of substance use disorders.
