Team Member, Quality (2nd Shift)
OverviewThe Quality Control Team Member ensures that products and materials meet established quality standards through careful inspection and testing.Responsibilities(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
Examine materials, components, and finished products at various stages of production to identify defects or deviations from specifications
Accurately document inspection results, including any defects or non-conformities identified
Communicate inspection findings and report quality issues to Supervisors and Production staff in a timely manner
Provide recommendations for process improvements based on quality data, inspection results, and observations
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) standards
Demonstrate knowledge of safety equipment and company safety policies
Maintain a clean, organized work area by practicing 5S standards; ensure workstations, tools, and gauges are properly maintained
Follow all work orders and instructions provided by Supervisors and Management
Actively participate as a member of the Quality Team, where teamwork and collaboration are essential
Demonstrate proficiency in required inspection techniques, including:
Push / Pull / Push
Push / Push
Overhead reach capability
Second shift; training on first
Perform all other duties as assigned

Education: High School Diploma/GED
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
Foreign language proficiency not required
Previous work experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role preferred, including a minimum of one (1) year of production or assembly experience
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify defects and verify compliance with specifications
Ability to work weekends as needed based on operational requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
