Crane Operator

Davis Staffing, Inc. has an immediate need for a Crane Operator. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to move steel and materials throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations. Job Qualifications Include: Ability to safely operate an overhead crane experience in out of a steel environment. Experience with material handling in a manufacturing or steel environment preferred Ability to use and read a tape measure accurately Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures Team-oriented with the ability to assist in general labor duties as needed Job Responsibilities Include: Operate overhead crane to unload mill trucks Load outbound trucks Pick and move steel throughout the facility Load and unload saw and other production equipment Use a tape measure to verify material Perform all other assigned duties as needed Job Details Include: Temp to Hire $20 an hour with over time Steel toe boots or shoes 11:00 pm - 7:30 am Host Employer Benefits Include: Holiday Pay Health Insurance in compliance with the Affordable Care Act Referral Bonus Sherwin Williams Credit Union Illinois Secure Choice Retirement Program Employees working in Illinois are eligible for paid leave
