Leveraging deep technical expertise, standardized best practices, and advanced technology platforms, we deliver consistent, high-quality solutions that support our clients’ most critical project needs.Position OverviewThe Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and protocols across commercial construction projects. This role ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. The Safety Manager leads safety initiatives, conducts inspections and audits, investigates incidents, and collaborates with project teams and subcontractors to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure complianceInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; implement corrective actionsMaintain safety records, including reports, training logs, and compliance documentationLead safety training, toolbox talks, and site briefingsEnforce OSHA regulations, PPE use, and safe work practicesCollaborate with project teams and subcontractors to address safety concernsTrack and report safety performance metrics to leadershipQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in construction safety (commercial preferred)Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard mitigation practicesProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience leading safety programs and mentoring field teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management toolsOSHA 30, CSP, NEBOSH, or similar certifications preferredAt Anova, We OfferMedical, dental, and vision benefitsHSA/Medical Savings with employer contributionEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) + 401(k) matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysParental leave and wellness benefitsCompany-sponsored events and additional voluntary benefitsNotice to Recruiters and Agencies: Shiel Sexton prefers to recruit candidates directly, rather than through a third-party recruiter or agency.
