Our core technologies in multi-sensor data fusion and nuclear engineering stem from over a decade of national laboratory R&D and are actively deployed across nuclear power, emergency response, defense, homeland security, and international safeguards. We're a small, fast-moving team of scientists and engineers building hardware that matters.To conform to U.S. Government regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.The Role:We're looking for a technical sales professional who can support the full commercial lifecycle from identifying opportunities to closing contracts and ensuring successful delivery. You'll report to the Head of Business Development and serve as a commercial representative of GRI to a variety of industries. This is a high-impact role at a growing startup where your work directly shapes revenue, relationships, and market presence.Key Responsibilities:Support and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targetsExpand and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagementSupport the complete sales cycle from lead generation to close, including:Qualifying prospects and identifying decision makersConducting product demonstrations and technical presentationsSupporting negotiation of contracts and dealsEnsure successful product delivery and customer satisfactionLead product training sessions and demonstrations for potential clientsSupport and maintain relationships with key distributors and channel partnersManage and optimize the CRM system to ensure accurate forecasting and reportingCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, hardware, and operations teamsCreate and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analyses to support strategic planningRepresent GRI at customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows (up to 50% travel, domestic and international)Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field2+ years of B2B sales experience in technical hardware, defense technology, or scientific instrumentationExternal sales experienceStrong technical aptitude — you can credibly discuss sensor systems and field operations with engineers and program managers alikeExcellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skillsExperience with CRM systemsValid driver's license; ability to travel domestically and internationallyPreferred Qualifications:4+ years in B2B technical salesNuclear, defense, or radiation detection backgroundGovernment procurement knowledgeNational lab or federal agency experienceProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStartup experienceStrategic partnership developmentWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and company holidaysTravel opportunitiesOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies making real-world impactsGRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
