Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards. Solid knowledge of all food products, identify and safely use all kitchen equipment. Maintain a solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation, prepare all dishes following recipes and yield guides, plate desserts. Complete opening duties, set up work station with required tools, equipment and supplies, check production schedule and pars. Must be able to breakdown work station and complete closing duties by returning all food items to proper storage areas, rotate all returned product, wrap, cover, label and date all items being put away, straighten up and organize all storage areas, clean and wipe down food prep area and reach in/walk ins.Position Requirements: Candidates must be able to communicate in a professional manner. Culinary training or degree preferred, but not required. Requires the ability to work organized and within a team environment. Requires the following valid documentation: ServeSafe certification.
