Interim Project AccountantLocation: New Hope, MN 55428 / Fully OnsiteSalary Range: $80,000 - $90,000Industry: ConstructionAbout the Opportunity - Interim Project AccountantThis interim opportunity supports active construction projects by handling critical project accounting and administrative functions. The role partners closely with project managers and finance teams to ensure accurate billing, compliance, and financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities - Interim Project AccountantPrepare and process customer billings, including AIA applications, progress invoicing, and GMP cost reportsTrack labor, materials, and job costs; support light WIP reporting and monthly financial cyclesManage project documentation such as change orders, lien waivers, compliance forms, and closeout packagesEnsure subcontractor compliance, insurance documentation, and onboarding materials are currentAssist with light collections and follow up on outstanding receivablesMonitor contract terms and support change management documentationSubmit billings through third-party platforms (e.g., Textura, Procore, Ariba)Act as a liaison between accounting, project management, and field operationsQualifications - Interim Project Accountant3+ years of experience in construction project accounting, billing, or financeStrong knowledge of AIA billing, job costing, and construction compliance requirementsExperience with change order processes and construction contractsProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with construction ERPs (COINS, Viewpoint, Spectrum, or similar) preferredHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach#INAPR2026
