A vitamin facility in Tempe is hiring Production Operators.(5 AM - 3:30 PM/Monday - Thursday)A health and wellness manufacturer that produces vitamins and supplements, focusing on blending, packaging, and quality-controlled production in a fast-paced environment.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Production Operator (1st Shift) Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 16.50 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 03:30pm)Stock and sort product and packaging supplies such as, film, boxes, lids, bottles, ink, labels, etc.Measure and examine materials and finished products to ensure conformance to established standards.Inspect lot numbers, expiration dates, and other specifications before packaging.Place materials into containers, cartons and boxes.Seal containers or boxes using hands, fasteners, tape, and hand tools.Remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials or packing supplies.Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas.Clean and sterilize the equipment and tools as specified.Provide information or indication of problems to Management or Quality Assurance.Reports to work regularly and on time. Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.Assists in other duties as needed and directed.Production Operator (1st Shift) Qualifications:Demonstrate attention to detail and problem sensitivity.Knowledge of food production processing.Must occasionally lift 25 lbs. or move up to 100 lbs. using pallet jacks.Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, and occasionally to pull.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
