Lift Disability Network seeks to provide an intersection where faith and societal needs converge, uplifting life within the disability community.Role DescriptionLift Disability Network is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry seeking a mission-minded and proactive Advancement Director. This role leads all aspects of fundraising for Lift Disability Network, advancing our mission to inspire individuals and families living with disability to discover hope, purpose, and new possibilities. This director-level role designs and executes a comprehensive development strategy spanning major gifts, grants, annual giving, events, and donor stewardship to grow our $1M operating budget. The ideal candidate will be someone who shares our values of faith, family, and community, and is a strong leader with a heart for hospitality, disability inclusion, and team collaboration. This is a vital position that strengthens our ability to serve families with excellence and care.Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Leadership: Build and execute the annual and multi-year development plan; set goals, KPIs, and the case for support.Major Gifts & Donor Cultivation: Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and major donors; manage a personal portfolio of top relationships.Grants & Foundations: Direct grant research, writing, submission, reporting, and foundation relationships.Annual Giving & Campaigns: Lead annual fund, year-end appeals, giving days, and digital fundraising.Events & Sponsorships: Oversee signature fundraising events and secure corporate and church sponsorships.Operations & Stewardship: Manage the donor database, gift processing, acknowledgments, and reporting; ensure compliance and donor-care excellence.Team & Board: As significant member of the leadership team, supervise development of staff/volunteers and partner with the Executive Director and Board on advancement priorities.Qualifications· Proven heart for the disability community in alignment with Lift's mission and values.· Ability to look beyond core advancement functions to build a foundation for sustainable growth in contributions.· Desire to lead and mentor team members and grow the department's capacity over time.· Bachelor's degree required; CFRE or advanced degree preferred.· 5+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising leadership with a documented track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals.· Demonstrated success across major gifts, grants, annual giving, and events.· Excellent written, verbal, and relational communication skills; comfort with donor and faith-community engagement.· Proficiency with donor CRM systems (e.g., Virtuous, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Salesforce NPC).· Capability to dream big, achieve growth goals, and have fun while doing it.
