Quality Technician 3rd Shift
Wright Plastic Products currently has an opening for a 3rd shift Quality Technician at our St. Clair, MI location.Summary of Position Responsibilities:Perform part inspection per written instructions, which includes visual checks, and variable and attribute gaging; in addition, assists with training operators to do the same.Maintain instruction documentation, logs, and master shots. Perform final inspection and to take action on any part nonconformance's.General Responsibilities:Perform part inspection per written control plan, including visual checks and variable & attribute gaging.Quality Responsibilities:Support group on quality and process issues (consensus decision-making).Use various measuring equipment to measure parts, such as; micrometers, calipers, gage pins, height gage, and micro-vu.Input SPC/SQC data and take corrective action on any points out of control.Input In-process inspection results into computer.Input SPC/SQC data in computer per control plan.Initiate and document corrective action on any points out of control.Perform final inspection and initiate & document corrective action on any part nonconformance's.Follow all company procedures and work instructions.Assure that housekeeping is maintained at an acceptable level.Participate in the continuous improvement program with team members to resolve issues that are blocking productivity gains.
