On‑Site | Chattanooga, TN Full‑Time | Contract to hire (6 months) Entry Level | Healthcare Customer Service About The Role We are hiring a Patient Access Specialist to support a fast‑paced healthcare environment. This role focuses on administrative and clerical support related to patient records, billing documentation, and internal requests.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, customer service experience, and interest in building a career in healthcare operations. Key Responsibilities Process and fulfill requests for medical records, EOBs, UB‑92 forms, and itemized statementsSort, track, and distribute incoming mail and documentationPerform general office tasks including filing, scanning, indexing, and data entryReview and process claims and documentation from multiple sourcesWork within system queues and online files to complete assigned tasksEnsure accurate documentation and timely completion of work itemsCommunicate with internal teams regarding requests and documentation needs Required Qualifications What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalentPrevious administrative, office, or customer service experienceFamiliarity with medical terminologyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and handle research tasksComfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environmentBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Preferred (Nice To Have) Experience in healthcare or patient accessExposure to EPIC or similar systemsData entry or 10‑key experienceCustomer service experience Schedule & Work Environment On‑site role in Chattanooga, TNOffice/healthcare setting with a collaborative team environmentVarious shift options may be available (day, mid, or rotating schedules)Fast‑paced environment with high daily volume Additional Requirements Background check requiredDrug screening requiredPre‑employment health screenings and immunizations may be required Why This Role Entry point into healthcare administrationHands‑on experience with medical records and billing processesOpportunity to build transferable skills in a high‑demand industryStructured environment with defined processes and growth potential#westpriority26 Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chattanooga, TN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
