Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead product design, development, and manufacturing support for Sunrise Technologies and Ripley Lighting products. Reporting directly to the VP/General Manager, this role oversees all engineering functions, driving innovation, product quality, and operational support across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all engineering activities, including product development, design, and manufacturing supportOversee electronic circuit design, PCB development, firmware/software programming, and digital/analog systemsManage and mentor a team of engineers across Application, Manufacturing, and Product Development functionsDrive new product development from concept through productionProvide technical leadership in embedded systems, PCB troubleshooting, automated test systems, and product validationCollaborate with Sales, Operations, and cross-functional teams to support customer and business objectivesSupport manufacturing processes through troubleshooting, process improvements, and production efficiency initiativesEnsure compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and engineering documentation practicesCoordinate with offshore suppliers and support global design collaborationFoster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountabilityQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field10+ years of electronics engineering experience, including leadership responsibilitiesStrong background in PCB design, firmware/software programming, and digital/analog electronicsExperience with embedded systems, manufacturing environments, and new product developmentKnowledge of radio control systems and high-reliability product design preferredFamiliarity with ERP systems and quality control standardsStrong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and presentation skillsWork Environment: Combination of office and manufacturing environments with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
