This role oversees all aspects of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), plant accounting, and operational analytics while partnering closely with Operations and Executive Leadership to drive informed decision‑making.The Operations Finance Manager will lead a high‑performing team, manage month‑end close for multiple locations, and deliver clear, actionable insights that support operational efficiency, cost optimization, and strategic growth initiatives. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.Key Responsibilities• Lead, mentor, and develop the Operations Finance team; ensure alignment with organizational goals• Oversee plant accounting, including gross profit analysis, production variances, product costing, inventory planning, and month‑end close• Manage operational and financial reporting, including labor efficiency, scrap, customer profitability, and inventory performance• Own weekly and monthly KPI reporting; implement controls to measure operational performance• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and production activity analysis across multiple manufacturing locations• Conduct strategic financial modeling, including cash flow, DCF, IRR, NPV, and capital investment analysis• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, capacity evaluations, and other cross‑functional strategic projectsQualifications• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing• Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, and ERP systems• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, communication, and project‑management capabilities• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across operations, finance, and executive leadership
