Roof & Exterior Coating Technician (Liqua-Roof Application Team)

About Us: Spray-Net Knoxville is a fast-growing exterior coatings company specializing in brick staining, exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, and now launching Liqua-Roof™ — a patented roof restoration system that extends the life of asphalt shingles at a fraction of replacement cost. We expect high demand this spring and for the rest of the year, we are building our execution team now. Job Overview: We are hiring a Roof & Exterior Coating Technician to join our LiquaRoof application team. This role is ideal for someone with roofing experience who is: Comfortable working on ladders and roof surfaces Safety-focused A fast learner Interested in growing with a company that is expanding rapidly When weather does not permit roof applications, team members will assist with: Exterior painting projects Masking and prep work Kitchen cabinet refinishing (in our structured in-home system) This is a full-time position starting late February (or sooner) Key Responsibilities: Assist with Liqua-Roof application on residential and commercial roofs Follow strict safety protocols when working at heights Move and secure ladders properly Perform roof prep including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation Assist with exterior painting projects Help with masking and prep on cabinet refinishing jobs Operate and learn specialized application equipment Maintain clean and organized job sites Represent the company professionally with customers Drive vehicles as needed Cleaning equipment Lead tasks and operations as needed Help with marketing on-site duties (yard signs, referrals on site, etc) Qualifications Required: Roofing experience (installation, repair, or tear-off) Experience with masking and surface prep Comfortable working at heights Experience using ladders and roof safety practices Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to lift 50+ lbs Valid driver’s license Able to commute to Knoxville area Experience operating boom lifts and special equipment will be a plus Preferred: Spray equipment experience (not required) Exterior painting experience Bilingual Spanish/English (highly valued) OSHA or roof safety training What We’re Looking For Team player mindset Coachable and willing to learn new systems Growth-oriented Positive attitude Detail-focused Our equipment and system require precision and training — we invest in people who want to build a career, not just a job.
