Test Engineer Technician

Gilbert PCB Contract Manufacturer has an opening for an Electronics Test Technician to help with the programming and testing of various electronic PCB assemblies. This position reports directly to the Test Manager. Do not disqualify yourself without reading the full job description. Minimum job requirements: * Comfortable using a Windows PC and Microsoft Office products. * Manual dexterity and good vision. * The ability to read and comprehend test procedures and documentation. * The right attitude and a willingness to learn and be flexible is a must, as is attention to detail. * Postsecondary education preferred (University, Community College, Technical School, Trade School). Experience in any of the following areas is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate: * PC hardware configuration/software installation. * Familiarity with electronics at the component level. * The ability to read Schematics, Bill of Materials and Spec/Datasheets. * Familiarity with Test Equipment including Power Supplies, Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Function/Waveform Generator, Electronic Load and Spectrum Analyzers. * AC and DC electrical circuits. * Use of a binocular microscope for board level inspection and troubleshooting. Other responsibilities may include helping with production, final assembly and packaging. This is a day shift position that supports the manufacturing department.
