Validation Engineer

LER Techforce is seeking a highly motivated Verification Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting advanced vehicle control and electronic systems. This role works closely with software development and cross-functional teams to test and verify the functionality and performance of electronic systems and devices prior to release. What You'll Do Verification PlanningDevelop systematic, detailed, and well-structured verification and test plansAnalyze and interpret product requirements and design documentation Test Case Development & ExecutionCreate and execute test cases to validate system functionality and performancePerform regression testing following defect resolution Test AutomationDevelop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworksEvaluate and implement modern testing tools and strategies Documentation & CollaborationParticipate in requirements and design reviewsDocument test procedures to ensure repeatability and complianceCommunicate testing status, results, and risks to stakeholders Defect TrackingIdentify, document, and track defectsSupport debugging and verification of corrective actions Minimum Qualifications EducationBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Experience3–5 years of experience in software testing, validation, or similar roleProficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Bash, C, C++, etc.)Experience developing test cases from requirements and design documentationExperience using revision control systems and bug tracking toolsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development environmentAbility to set up and utilize common test equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teams Preferred QualificationsCSQE certificationExperience developing and executing automated testsFamiliarity with cloud-based testing environmentsExperience working with embedded systems (bare metal and RTOS architectures)Linux administration and console experienceExperience developing test cases with source code awarenessUsability testing experience #LI-KE1
