Sr. Data Integration EngineerThis is a 6 month contract to hire position. This is a contract to hire role, and the client does not provide any form of visa sponsorship. To qualify, candidates must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship now or in future.Summary/Objective:The Senior Data Integration (DI) Engineer's role is to model/map and execute all activities related to the integration of data across various sources into an organized and unified view, with information security, integrity, and availability in mind. This individual is also responsible for the monitoring of data flows between repositories and cloud services to identify and implement the most suitable DI architecture for the organization's needs. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role. This is a highly technical position, within a high-paced environment. A person with high attention to detail and a logical mindset with strong motivation and passion for technology would be a great candidate.Essential Responsibilities:Work with product owners, business analysts and developers to ensure that data entry, retrieval, and modification functions meet business requirementsLead in company data integrations across various information systemsServe as primary point of contact for data related issues and questions, such as ensuring integrity of data, verifying information regarding data quality and adherence to set integration schemasRespond to data requests from developers and business usersIdentify data entry, retrieval, and modification issues, and work to ensure a high level of data security, integrity, and availabilityCreate and maintain data integration documentationOther duties as assignedQualifications:7+ years of direct experience in enterprise-level data integrationsHands-on experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, methodology development, and data mapping.Working technical knowledge of current database software, protocols, and standardsStrong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practicesExperience with one or more of the major relational database engines (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud-based data warehousing platforms (AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse)Broad experience with data integration methodologies, frameworks, and tools (ETL/ELT, API, publisher-subscriber: Kafka, ActiveMQ, Apache NiFi and/or Airflow, etc.)Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, etc.)Required Skills: Kafka, Python, Apache AirFlow, Rest API's-Synchronizations Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes
