E-CommerceAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President, Venue Technology to lead the strategic development and execution of technology initiatives across its global portfolio of live event venues. The successful candidate will be a visionary and execution-focused leader, responsible for architecting and delivering a multi-year venue technology roadmap that aligns with business strategy, operational priorities, and guest experience goals. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of venue technology, from design to implementation, and continuous innovation. The VP will also be the executive sponsor for technology innovation, championing initiatives such as smart venue platforms and AI-driven operational intelligence, and will be expected to have a strong background in enterprise or venue technology leadership, with a proven track record in technology transformation within high-volume guest-facing industries.Candidates for the Vice President, Venue Technology position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' experience in technology leadership, including at least 7 years in executive roles. The role requires deep expertise in venue technology ecosystems, including networking, AV/broadcast, compute and storage, security and access, and guest tech. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and ITIL/DevOps best practices, and experience in integrating data platforms, AI/ML models, and IoT systems. Exceptional leadership skills, a history of building high-performing teams, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are essential. The VP will also be responsible for managing multi-million-dollar budgets and should be adept at translating technical strategy into business outcomes, with a focus on ROI, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.Hiring Manager Title
