Superintendent - Commercial Construction

The Superintendent - Commercial Construction will oversee all aspects of on-site construction for commercial projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Based West of Boston Project locations all throughout Greater Boston/Eastern MA 30+ years in business Specialize in commercial construction, academic builds, public work and more Offers both new construction & renovation projects Tight knit, family oriented culture Description The Superintendent - Commercial Construction will: Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project staff to maintain efficient workflow. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members. Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction to avoid delays or disruptions. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and change orders. Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure seamless execution. Profile A successful Superintendent - Commercial Construction should have: Proven experience in commercial construction project management. Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively. MA CSL. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
