Working primarily with these products, the technician contributes to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control functions by performing extractions and wetmills, which involve working with liquid products. The role involves both chemistry and microbiology work in a laboratory setting.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze final product and in-process samples using advanced instrumentation: HPLC, GC, AA, FT-IR, NIR, Karl Fischer, and morePerform wet chemistry techniques, extractions, and "wetmills" on liquid productsConduct microbiological testing, pH analysis, refractive index, particle size distribution, and spectrophotometric methodsPost results into data systems and communicate findings to plant personnelIdentify abnormal results and collaborate with process teams to resolve issuesPerform QA/QC checks on outbound shipments and document resultsMaintain lab equipment and follow established methodologiesSupport cross-functional teams with analytical and project-based tasksAdhere to company policies, safety protocols, and core valuesParticipate in skill block training to advance lab technician levels and compensationRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific disciplineFamiliarity with lab instrumentation and methodologies (experience may come from coursework or internships)Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and self-motivationExcellent communication skills and ability to multitaskProficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plusPreferred Skills* Experience with titrations, wet chemistry, viscosity testing, microbiology* Understanding of GMP standards and quality control proceduresWork EnvironmentComfortable standing for extended periodsCasual dress code: jeans and t-shirt acceptableCollaborative team culture with training and growth opportunitiesCareer Growth & CompensationBegin training immediately on skill blocks to advance technician levelsLevel I technicians earn up to $27/hour within first yearTop-tier lab techs can earn up to $100K+ annually based on skill competenciesINTERESTED IN THIS ROLE?
