Manufacturing Electrician
Job DescriptionGpac is working with a leading building material manufacturer that is urgently seeking a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Electrician (10:30pm to 6:30am) for their facility south of the Elizabeth area of New Jersey.This company has been in business for 60 years and has been the gold standard and a leading manufacturer, they are industry pioneers, on the cutting edge of innovation to continuously meet the challenges of a changing world. Job Type: Full-time Role-Warehouse environment Functional Overview:The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including PLCs, control systems, motors, VFDs, and other complex electromechanical equipment. This role requires performing preventive and emergency maintenance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems in the facility.• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications• Troubleshoot, install or repair electrical wiring, conduit, feeders, breakers and other electricalcomponents using appropriate electrical test equipment• Perform electrical maintenance and emergency repairs, implement modifications, and carryout the facility's preventive maintenance program during the assigned shift• Install and repair electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment• Plan layouts for new electrical wiring installations when required• Conduct regular inspections of all electrical equipment, including switchgear and motors, aspart of the preventive maintenance program• Maintain electro-pneumatic control systems by adjusting, calibrating, and repairing them• Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring in compliance with thenational electrical code and company standards• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs• Assist the purchasing department by providing technical guidance on equipment andelectrical parts• Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative when needed Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED required• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, prints, specifications and Operations and Maintenance Manuals• Ability to stand for long period of time• Ability to lift 50 Lbs• 3 -5 years of hands-on maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment, working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment• The candidate we seek must read and write in English language• Experience with pneumatics hydraulics, and electronics is a plusBenefits:• Major Medical, Dental, Vision. 401K, PTO, Quartey Bonus, Amazing room foradvancement and many other great perksPay range: $35 -$40/hr. + differential + bonus opportunityWe are in the process of arranging interviews, for immediate consideration please send your resume to Rick at ...@gogpac.com.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
