Company DescriptionThe Family Resource Center is a well-established social service organization providing home visitation and other supports to families with children birth to 12 years. We serve Floyd and Polk Counties. We are proud collaborators with other local community agencies and members of Positive Childhood Alliance Georgia, Georgia Family Support Network, and the NEC child abuse prevention center network.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position located in Rome, GA. The Program Supervisor is the first point-of-contact a referred family has with our agency. Our Supervisor must be able to engage families, assess fit with our program, and help introduce them to their Parent Aide. The Supervisor oversees and supports a team of Parent Aides, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. Responsibilities include managing caseloads, ensuring quality service delivery, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and credentialing/accreditation requirements, and assisting with professional development of team members. Additional duties include coordinating with families to assess needs, developing appropriate intervention strategies, and maintaining records of client progress. This position works in key partnership with our Executive Director and must be able to work in collaboration with other agencies.QualificationsBachelor degree in psychology, sociology, social services, or other related human services field (or equivalent experience)Home visitation experience (with focus on family services or child abuse prevention)Team leadership and supervision skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.Interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients, staff, and community partners.Understanding of child development, family dynamics, and strategies for addressing family challenges.Proficiency in maintaining accurate client records and documentation.Familiarity with parenting curriculums a plus
