This role serves as a front-line growth driver by identifying opportunities, qualifying prospects, nurturing leads, and supporting field sales teams across all industrial market segments. The position emphasizes high-volume outbound calling, consultative selling, and disciplined CRM execution.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecute daily outbound call campaigns to targeted industrial accounts to generate new opportunities for rentals, power generation, and related servicesIdentify customer needs related to aerial lifts, forklifts, light towers, carry deck cranes, floor scrubbers, welders, generators, air compressors, and HVAC/temperature control systemsQualify inbound and outbound leads and route sales-ready opportunities to the appropriate outside sales or rental representativesAssist customers with basic application questions and coordinate technical support or field follow-up as neededAccurately document all call activity, opportunities, and next steps in the CRM systemMaintain lead pipelines, follow-up schedules, and account notes to ensure consistent coverageSupport marketing campaigns, customer lists, and targeted calling initiatives in coordination with Rental and Sales teamsWhat We Expect Of YouWe all have different backgrounds, yet we all use our unique contributions to provide the highest quality of service.Basic QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a technical field preferredStrong phone presence with the ability to conduct high-volume outbound call activityExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to learn technical product applications and translate them into customer valueWorking knowledge of industrial, construction, facilities, and contractor markets to support consultative conversations is a plusWhat’s In It For YouAt Thompson Machinery, we believe that great benefits are more than just perks— they’re essential for employee well-being and success.
