Controls Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Train and assist with the design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) systems. Provide technical assistance and support to operations throughout the data center lifecycle. Review and act on results from quarterly BMS and EPMS maintenances. Develop BMS & EPMS project scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of effort. Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects. Support procurement activities, including RFQ/RFP, vendor review, and purchase orders.What You'll Need 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience. 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience related to construction and project execution. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent engineering science plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree. Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems. Experience using common industrial communication protocols (MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS).
