Maintenance Technician
Position OverviewThis role is responsible for leading maintenance operations across our facilities and fleet, utilizing modern computerized maintenance management systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and facility conditions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preventive maintenance programs, facilities services, and fleet management.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet ManagementOversee maintenance and repair of company vehicle fleet, including cars, trucks, and specialized equipmentCoordinate regular fleet inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulationsSchedule and track vehicle maintenance using Limble CMMSManage fleet inventory and coordinate with vendors for parts procurementAnalyze fleet performance data to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce downtimeEnsure proper documentation of all fleet maintenance activitiesLimble System ManagementServe as the primary administrator for the Limble CMMS platformCreate and manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and asset recordsTrain team members on Limble system usage and best practicesGenerate maintenance reports and analytics for management reviewOptimize system configurations to improve maintenance efficiencyMaintain accurate equipment history and documentation within LimblePreventive Maintenance (PM) ProgramsDevelop and implement comprehensive PM programs for all equipment and facilitiesCreate detailed PM checklists and standard operating proceduresSchedule and execute routine maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specificationsMonitor PM compliance rates and adjust programs as neededAnalyze equipment failure data to refine PM intervals and proceduresLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PM effectivenessFacilities ServicesPerform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsManage building maintenance including structural repairs, painting, and renovationsCoordinate with external contractors for specialized facility servicesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codesRespond to emergency maintenance requests promptlyMaintain facility appearance and functionality standardsLeadership and Team DevelopmentMentor and train junior maintenance techniciansAssist in developing maintenance best practices and proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goalsParticipate in after hours rotation for emergency maintenance needsRequired QualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferredMinimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenanceAt least 2 years of experience with computerized maintenance management systemsProven experience in fleet management and facilities maintenanceTechnical SkillsProficiency in Limble CMMS or similar maintenance management softwareStrong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsExperience with preventive maintenance program development and implementationAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsCompetency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipmentCertifications and LicensesValid driver's license with clean driving recordEPA Universal Certification (preferred)OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification (preferred)Relevant trade certifications (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) are a plusAdditional RequirementsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditionsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and mobile applicationsWillingness to participate in ongoing professional developmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with fleet management software integrationKnowledge of energy management and sustainability practicesProject management experienceWelding and fabrication skillsExperience with building automation systems
