Manufacturing Production Manager
Job Title: Manufacturing Production ManagerJob Description: We are looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Production Manager to join our team. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated product lines to ensure cost, schedule, technical, gross margin, and profitability goals are met. The successful candidate will align the organization’s plans and performance with the division and company goals, and lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement processes.Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability within the division.Develop and coach supervisors and leads on leadership disciplines and high volume manufacturing principles.Manage a multi-disciplined team for assigned product lines, overseeing cost, technical, and schedule performance.Participate in proposal and contract negotiations for change activities.Serve as the primary contact for program managers regarding product line activities and lead review sessions on cost, pricing, schedule, and technical performance.Implement lean techniques to eliminate waste and improve process value.Lead or participate in business plan preparation, work statements, and development of technical and administrative specifications and operating budgets.Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.Identify and resolve product line issues to increase productivity, gross margin, and profit.Direct the work of stakeholders from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.Education Requirements:Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline.A combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement.Experience Requirements:8-10 years of related experience and/or training.4 years of supervisory/management experience (included in the overall experience requirements).Skills and Competencies:Effective communication using electronic media, written, and verbal forms.Ability to develop, present, and manage product build plans to meet customer requirements and company cost goals.Proficiency in making telephone and direct personal contact with internal and external personnel and making formal presentations to groups.Competence in using standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.Join us and be a key player in driving our manufacturing excellence.
