Armed Security Officer

Job Summary Must Have A ST CHARLES Armed LIC. We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong background in security practices, law enforcement, or military experience, along with the ability to manage conflicts effectively. The Armed Security Officer will utilize various surveillance techniques and tools to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and determining appropriate actions. Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or breaches in security. Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents and investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns or incidents. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate situations effectively while ensuring safety. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is a plus.
