Electronics Assembler - 2nd Shift
Role: Perform assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies, primarily hand-soldering, following company, IPC, and J-standards.Responsibilities IncludeAssembling parts into units or subassemblies using hand tools and soldering irons.Using voltmeters, scales, fixtures, and soldering equipment under a stereo microscope.Following detailed instructions, preparing PC boards, applying adhesives, and mechanical assembly.Inspecting work for quality, creating non-conforming material reviews, and performing root cause analysis.Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and documentation, supporting safety, security, and ESD policies.Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; 1-5 years of soldering or complex assembly experience preferred.Proficiency with hand tools, automatic soldering equipment, and fine-pitch components.Ability to follow detailed instructions, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.Basic mechanical skills and good soldering abilities, with the capacity to work under magnification.Additional Information: This is a second-shift role (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), with overtime as needed.
