Seasonal EMT

Education & Qualifications: Current Pennsylvania EMT and CPR certification are required. A high school Diploma or GED is preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age, have a valid PA Driver’s License and be able to work in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum or 25 lbs. and a maximum of 200 lbs. on occasion. Must know and abide by Pennsylvania State Department of Health/EMS Division, BLS protocols. Must communicate clearly; maintain and project a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times when interacting with co-workers and guests. Must have basic math skills for sales and inventory functions and accurately operate a Point of Sale (POS) register. Must maintain a well-groomed appearance at all times. Must be able to work with others or independently. Must accurately document incidents/injuries. Starting rate of pay is $16.00/hour. Essential Functions: Administer prescribed first aid treatment at the site of an emergency for injured individuals. Abide by the Pennsylvania State Basic Life Support (BLS) Protocols. Operate the Pont of Sale (POS) register according to the standard operating procedures for the First Aid Department. Abide by the operation policies and procedures of the department. Adhere to Federal and State Laws and company policies. Provide excellent guest service and positive guest relations with internal and external guests. Assist guest with the mobility program rentals. Maintain the facilities and equipment in the First Aid Department. This includes but is not limited to the operation and inspection of department equipment, and cleanliness. Abide by the overages and shortages policy within the department. Adhere to and promote safety policies and programs within the company. Report any safety issues to the Department Director or VP if the director is not available. Safely operate golf carts as required. Address and handle customer issues and complaints when necessary. Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail and cold. Other Responsibilities: Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality. Report to and from work at assigned time. Complete other duties as assigned. Must be honest and reliable. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis. Adhere to dress code policy.
