Director of Translational Machine Learning

A company is looking for a Director of Translational Machine Learning. Key Responsibilities Define and execute a translational ML strategy across various biomedical data modalities Contribute to technical work including experimental design, model development, and analysis of ML outputs Manage a team of ML scientists and translate clinical questions into ML problems and actionable recommendations Qualifications PhD in machine learning, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related computational STEM field Expertise in applying ML methods to biomedical problems with experience in omics and imaging data Industry experience in drug discovery or pharmaceutical R&D Ability to navigate experimental design complexities across diverse biological data types Experience managing or building small technical teams
