Software Engineer – Healthcare Claims (.NET, SQL, QNXT)Location: RemoteExperience: 8+ YearsDomain: Healthcare Payer / Claims ProcessingWe are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with strong experience in Healthcare Claims Processing and hands-on expertise in .NET, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, APIs, and QNXT. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting critical healthcare payer applications while collaborating with onsite and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and support healthcare claims processing applications.Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions.Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, SQL Server, SSIS, and related technologies.Provide technical leadership and coordination for offshore development teams.Serve as the primary liaison between onsite stakeholders and offshore developers.Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal business impact.Participate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and release activities.Support production operations, including critical P1/P2 incidents and scheduled weekend rotations.Work effectively during Hawaii business hours to support project and operational needs.Required Qualifications5+ years of software development experience in healthcare payer environments.Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and REST APIs.Proven experience with Healthcare Claims Processing and payer systems.Working knowledge of QNXT, BlueCard Claims, and healthcare data integrations.Strong understanding of upstream and downstream healthcare system integrations.Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting mission-critical applications.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions across distributed teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SaaS-based healthcare platforms.Knowledge of Claims Adjudication, Membership, Benefits, and Provider modules.Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.Familiarity with EDI transactions such as 837, 835, and 834.
