As part of the MQ-28 team you’ll work closely with Boeing Defense Australia (BDA) and/or other Phantom Works entities and partners to help design, integrate, and field an autonomous “loyal wingman” that extends the reach, survivability, and capability of crewed aircraft. If you want to solve hard problems, accelerate innovation in autonomy and teaming, and contribute to a program that matters, the MQ-28 team at Boeing Phantom Works is the place to make a measurable impact.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Lead Level Model-Based Systems Engineer.Position Responsibilities Support/lead system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo) to define interfaces, functions, and allocation across multiple domains Support/lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet program commitments, including support of design reviews Support/lead the program in implementing MBSE as part of broad digital engineering ecosystem Support/lead Systems Engineering efforts such as requirements decomposition, system architecture, system analysis, specification development, trade studies, program planning, interfaces management, risk management, certification planning & execution, verification & test planning, and overall integration and capture them in the MBSE model as appropriateTravel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (Level 4) 7+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work-related engineering experience with a relevant Master’s or PhD Prior Systems Engineering experience to include but not limited to system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation Experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysMLPreferred Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA) Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles; experience communicating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders and customers Understanding of various engineering analyses, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success Familiarity with aircraft/flight systems and domain-specific engineering (ME, EE, SW) to evaluate integration impacts.Pay Rate Range77 - 82 USD hourlyBenefits InformationOptional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KTundra Technical Solutions is among North America’s leading providers of Staffing and Consulting Services.
