Location Memorial Hospital Department Network Voice Operations Weekly Hours 0 Status Per Diem Shift Variable (United States of America) Job Summary As the Switchboard Operator, you will answer and connect all calls, give important messages to hospital staff, direct patients, visitors and volunteers to their destination and list admissions and discharges. You will screen all ER calls to ensure that only calls not seeking medical advice go through. You will begin nursing records for all patients needing ER services or determine if patients should go directly to the ED. You will activate 911 C-Section page when directed by OB personnel and relay all requests for testing results to the proper department.
