Special Education Teacher in Kingston, NH

A full-time Special Education Teacher is sought to serve as a Case Manager for K-9 students at a public school in Kingston, NH. This contract position is for the current school year and offers the opportunity to work closely with a manageable caseload of approximately 12-14 students. The role requires providing direct special education support, primarily focusing on reading, writing, and math through small group instruction.Key Responsibilities:Manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and coordinate services for assigned students.Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' academic and behavioral needs.Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success.Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Valid Special Education teaching certification.Experience managing a caseload and implementing IEPs.Ability to design and execute small group instructional interventions.Strong communication and organizational skills.Commitment to working onsite full-time, 35 hours per week.Location:Kingston, New HampshireServing K-9th grade students in a public school setting.This position offers the chance to work within a supportive school environment focusing on small group learning and individualized education plans.
