What You'll Do: As an ER RN, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care to diverse patient populations during night hours. Your role may involve floating between ER and Med-Surg departments, depending on patient needs, so flexibility and poise are essential. You'll work within a supportive team typically consisting of two nurses, one CNA, and a staff secretary, ensuring smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes. You ll utilize Athena EMR and hold critical certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC to maintain best practices in emergency care. Required Skills & Qualifications: Current California RN licensure BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required Ability to work 7 PM 7 AM night shifts effectively Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Compassionate communication and patient-centered care Flexibility to float between ER and Med-Surg units as needed Previous travel experience preferred but not mandatory Under 3 years of experience may be considered Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in CAH or similar settings Familiarity with Athena EMR system Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations Multilingual skills Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor s or Associate s Degree in Nursing Prior travel or diverse clinical experience is a plus Experience with emergency and Med-Surg patient populations Other Requirements: No mileage restrictions; flexibility preferred Covid-19 vaccination exemptions accepted Possession of valid licensure and credentials Willingness to work scheduled shifts and adapt as needed Step into a role where your skills save lives and your dedication makes a difference.
