This role coordinates scope internally and externally, performs takeoffs, gathers vendor and subcontractor pricing, and supports the preconstruction team in delivering competitive bids on time.Key ResponsibilitiesReview plans, specifications, and addenda to identify scope, requirements, risks, and constraintsPerform detailed material, labor, and equipment takeoffsCoordinate with sales, field teams, engineers, and project managers to verify scope and approachIdentify scope gaps, exclusions, and inconsistenciesObtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotesProvide value engineering input and cost-saving ideasPrepare bid tabulations, proposals, and supporting documentationEnsure compliance with codes, regulations, and client requirementsMaintain organized estimate files and cost databasesParticipate in project turnover to operations xaygatp Support a strong safety culture and zero-incident mindsetQualifications7+ years of estimating experience in construction or related tradesStrong knowledge of estimating practices, pricing, and takeoffsAbility to manage complex or high-value estimates independentlyExperience collaborating across preconstruction, sales, and field teamsBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and technical training
