Our legacy is built on excellence, reliability, and community service.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Civil Site Superintendent based out of Waterloo, IL. The role involves overseeing daily site operations, managing crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and coordinating schedules to achieve project deadlines. Additional responsibilities include budget management, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring the quality of work meets project specifications. The Heavy Civil Site Superintendent will also collaborate with our Project Management team to ensure a seamless workflow and successful project completion.Qualifications5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (sitework, infrastructure, DOT & municipal projects.)Proven experience as a Superintendent on prjoects involving earthwork, site utilites, concrete, & roadway construction.Expertise in Construction Site Management and Construction Safety protocolsStrong knowledge in grading, excavation, drainage, & concrete constructionAbility to read & interpret plans & specifications, and understand grade stakes & GPS machine control.Experience managing multiple crews & operations on a daily basis.Excellent leadership, communication, & problem-solving skills.Strong Sense of Teamwork & Work Together Attitude.OSHA 30 Certification required (or willing to obtain it).Valid Drivers License & willingness to travel to project sites (CDL is a plus).Benefits:Competitive salary (based on qualifications) + performance bonusesCompany Vehicle Health, Dental, & Vision InsuranceSimple IRA with Company MatchCareer Advancement oppertunitiesHow to Apply:Please submit your resume to Nic Strohbeck at nic@baxmeyerconstruction.com.
