Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments Experience communicating technical information effectively Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with othersSkills And Abilities Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and systems designAbility to evaluate and implement user’s requests for new data elements and systems and incorporates in the existing shared data environmentAbility to coordinate use of the organization’s data to ensure data integrity and control redundancyAbility to perform data modeling and proto typingKnowledge of maintaining necessary database securitySkilled in monitoring database performance and implementing efficiency improvementsAbility to create test data base environment for applications sections including the creation of necessary libraries and proceduresAbility to develop and maintain database access and procedures to ensure proper control of the databasesAbility to assist programmer/analysts in programming database objects and conduct walk-throughs to ensure database efficiencyAbility to set up and/or execute the jobs necessary to save, retrieve, and recover databases from hardware and software failures within established procedures
