This is a Senior Microsoft SQL Server DBA role supporting mission-critical enterprise banking applications. The hiring manager needs a hands-on production DBA who is strong in SQL Server administration, migrations, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and high availability. This is not a Database Developer or Data Engineer position.We are looking for a Senior Microsoft SQL Server DBA with 10+ years of experience managing large, high-volume production databases.The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with SQL Server Administration, SQL Server 2016 to 2022 migrations, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, performance tuning, Query Store, SSIS, SSRS, and troubleshooting. They should be comfortable supporting multiple critical projects in a fast-paced production environment and participating in on-call support.Experience with Linux, Splunk, Redis, Dynatrace, and other database technologies is a plus. Previous Bank of America or enterprise banking experience is highly preferred.
