This is a rare opportunity to work closely with an experienced and highly approachable CFO, gaining exposure across fund operations, accounting, and strategic initiatives. Excellent compensation package including base and substantial bonus.If you're looking for a role where you’ll own critical processes, expand beyond pure fund accounting, and accelerate your career, this is it.What You’ll Do:Review monthly NAV packages from fund administratorsReconcile trades daily with prime brokersManage investor allocations and performance calculationsSupport fund accounting and management company accountingProduce investor/marketing analytics and reportingManage key vendor relationships (prime brokers, administrators)Contribute across operations in a high-impact, “wear many hats” environmentWhat We’re Looking For (Strict Requirements)To ensure a strong fit, candidates must meet all of the following:8–10 years of fund accounting experience (can include public accounting/tax for part)Long/Short Hedge Fund Buy-side experience (or at a CFO outsourcing firm with L/S Hedge)Strong knowledge of swaps tax treatment, boxed positions, constructive sale rules, and the tax implications of frequent trading and hedging strategiesCPA or CFA is requiredAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, allocations, performance calculations)Experience with Enfusion or you are Tech Savvy to learn it quickly!You are in FL (ideal) or you can relocate there quickly!Who You Are:High integrity, accountability, and ownership mindsetComfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCurious and eager to learn beyond your current scopeStrong communicator who collaborates across functionsIdeally experienced in working at smaller firms (<50 people) and enjoys autonomyWhy This Role Stands Out:Direct mentorship from a CFO who will groom you to be able to be one somedayExposure to both fund + management company accounting and operationsHigh-growth environment with real advancement potential
