Individual Sales Representative

Location: Tallahassee, FLDepartment: Individual SalesF/T or P/T status: Full-timeSchedule: As requiredAbout the role:We are seeking an Individual Sales Representative to promote and sell Capital Health Plan (CHP) Marketplace Individual plans to individuals and families within our service area. This role engages prospective members through face‑to‑face benefit events, community outreach, scheduled appointments, walk‑ins, and phone‑based consultations.The Individual Sales Representative also supports the Individual Sales & Retention Manager by coordinating and tracking sales activities, assisting with reporting, and supporting compliance‑driven marketing initiatives. This role plays an important part in enrollment growth, member retention, and representing CHP within the community while ensuring adherence to CMS and OIR marketing guidelines.We're looking for someone who has:Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent education and experienceMinimum of two years of related sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience preferredStrong ability to engage and educate individuals and families on health plan optionsAbility to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in person, by phone, and in group settingsExperience building relationships with community organizations, agencies, or referral partnersStrong organizational skills with the ability to track activities, maintain records, and preparate reportsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointA current State of Florida Health Insurance LicenseA current Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM) certification or obtain one within 30 days of employmentHighly preferred candidates also have:Experience selling health insurance, Medicare, Marketplace, or related benefit productsFamiliarity with CMS and OIR marketing and compliance requirementsExperience participating in community events, benefit fairs, or outreach initiativesExperience completing enrollment, welcome calls, and outbound retention callsKnowledge of the CMS HPMS system or Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) About Capital Health Plan (CHP):CHP is a locally based, not‑for‑profit health maintenance organization serving the Tallahassee region for more than four decades.
