Quotations Specialist I

Job Description The Opportunity: Responsible for project quotations as requested by customers in a timely and efficient manner. All project quotations to be finalized at least 24 hours prior to bidding.Position Responsibilities:Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directedEvaluates project requirements, architectural drawings, and lighting fixture schedules to identify lighting bill of material suitable to achieve the desired outcome of the projectProvide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditionsProvide quotations on both miscellaneous and project quotes as requested by customersA certain degree of creativity and latitude is requiredAttend product and training sessions when availableExercise independent judgementProvide quotation breakdowns in a timely mannerLearns and understands SESCO Lighting's full product offer and its functionalityBring ideas and share with the team, to promote overall company growthOther duties as assigned by managerEssential Skills:Must possess 2 – 4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotationsPossess general knowledge of lighting products as well as lighting controls and IOT enabled devicesAbility to read and understand building and control drawingsExperience in submittal creation and reviewMust have excellent math skillsMust be able to multi-taskMust be proficient in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook
