The role will develop, test and implement scripts, programs, and related processes to collect, manage, publish metadata from data models. The data modeler will work closely with architects, developers and other data consumers to understand their needs and create appropriate data models.Education & Experience:Required: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology or a similar field, or equivalent work experience3 Years of hands-on data modelingExperience with metadata management and related toolsExperience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modelingExperience with data management standards and data model practicesExperience with physical data structures in MSSQL, Oracle and Snowflake using ErwinExperience with SDLC and DevOpsPreferred: Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and Healthcare Data filesKnowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysisStrong interpersonal skillsExperience with team managementExcellent communication and presentation skillsAdvanced troubleshooting skillsKey Responsibilities:Analysing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.Evaluating existing data systems.Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.Candidates must sit in one of these states: AK, AR, AZ, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI, WYWhen you do the Internal Recorded Interview Tell candidates that the client will see the recording They should act as if your screening call is an interview with the client.Data Modeler @ Remote - Full Time position
