We're headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan - and we're growing fast.We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to establish and lead our quality systems as we scale toward customer deliveries and future certification requirements. This is a rare opportunity to own quality from day one.WHAT YOU'LL OWNISO 9001 / AS9100 implementation and customer documentation readinessQuality plans, control plans, and inspection processesNonconformance, corrective action (CAPA), and internal audit systemsQuality KPIs and reporting dashboards for senior leadershipSupplier and customer quality interfacesIn-line and end-of-line inspection systems in partnership with OperationsContinuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supplier qualityYOUR FIRST 6 MONTHSMonth 1–3: Define the ISO/AS implementation roadmap and documentation structure-Stand up initial quality plans and inspection workflows for prototype builds-Launch the nonconformance and CAPA tracking system-Month 3–6: Complete internal audit preparation for ISO/AS readiness-Establish supplier quality metrics and review cadence-Lead a cross-functional quality performance review with senior leadershipWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORB.S. in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field5–10 years of quality experience in regulated manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, UL, or similar standardsStrong understanding of inspection methods, documentation control, and CAPA systemsExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsExperience managing supplier and customer quality relationshipsWHAT WE OFFERMedical, dental, and vision insurance through BCBS100% 401(k) match up to 5% of base salaryFull-time, Monday–FridayA ground-floor opportunity to shape the future of U.S.-based energy storage manufacturingEGI Battery is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
