Job Title: Cost Accountant (Direct Hire)Office / Worksite: Dallas, TX 75254Work Schedule: 4 days onsite/ 1 day remote, Half Day FridaysSalary: $135,000 Job Description: Insight Global is hiring a Senior Cost Accountant to lead advanced cost analysis and strengthen cost‑control frameworks. This individual will partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to improve cost transparency, inventory accuracy, margin performance, and GAAP‑compliant cost reporting. This is a senior, strategic individual contributor role. Responsibilities include developing advance costing models, conducting scenario and variance analyses, advising on cost-efficient operational strategies, and ensuring high-quality cost reporting aligned with GAAP and internal standards. Must‑Have Requirements7+ years of cost accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong manufacturing industry background ****Advanced experience with standard costing & cost modelingProven variance analysis and margin analysis expertiseStrong Excel skills and hands‑on experience with ERP cost modulesSolid understanding of GAAP‑compliant cost reporting Nice to HaveCPA or CMABilingual Spanish ****Experience partnering with plant/operations leadersExposure to BI or advanced analytics tools
