If so, this Engineering Manager opportunity may be the right next step for you.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of aerospace latches, locking systems, hinges, and precision mechanical assembliesManage engineering teams responsible for new product development, legacy product improvements, and technical project executionUtilize SolidWorks 2D/3D CAD and FEA/CAE simulation tools to evaluate product performance, identify stress/failure points, and optimize designsOversee product development from concept, simulation, and prototyping through environmental testing and production launchPartner closely with customers throughout the product development lifecycle to review specifications, technical requirements, and approval milestonesWork cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure designs are producible and cost-effectiveSupport R&D efforts including prototype/sample builds, testing coordination, and engineering validation activitiesLead technical problem-solving efforts related to product performance, manufacturability, and production supportDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product development speed, engineering efficiency, and overall time-to-market QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplineRequired Skills10+ years of engineering experience within aerospace, airline, or precision metallic product environmentsStrong experience designing aerospace mechanisms, latches, locking systems, hinges, or related precision hardwareDeep understanding of metallic materials, steel mechanical properties, fabrication processes, and product performance requirementsProficiency with SolidWorks, 3D CAD modeling, and FEA/CAE simulation analysisExperience identifying product failure points, stress analysis, crack propagation, and design optimization techniquesStrong background in new product development and customer-driven engineering programsExperience working directly with aerospace customers throughout design reviews, prototype development, testing, and product signoff stagesStrong understanding of GD&T, design-for-manufacturability, and engineering documentation standardsLeadership experience managing engineering teams and multiple technical programs simultaneouslyExcellent communication, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills This Engineering Manager opportunity offers the chance to join a respected aerospace organization specializing in latching systems, hinges, locking mechanisms, and precision aerospace hardware.
